Fruitful success stories When the intentions are good and goodness is the path you walk towards to achieve what you want, God will always grant you success and make you overcome all obstacles… “My friend and I overcame many obstacles, and in the end we achieved the goal of our initiative, and the additional classroom was built in Al-Kholoud School \ Deir Al-Salam \ Al-Dhahi District, and here we see with our own eyes that smile in the eyes of every rural girl who will achieve her educational goal that she seeks. With these beautiful phrases Ammar began his talk about the initiative adopted by him and his friend Majid Al-Bakari, which was the product of the initiatives cycles implemented by SDHGF, funded by CARE International.   And in a pale tone he said: “The majority of schools in the Yemeni rural areas suffer from a shortage of classrooms and the lack of an appropriate educational environment, which led to a number of female students stopping their studies, poor educational outcomes in rural villages, widespread ignorance and an increase in the illiteracy rate.”   From here, we felt the responsibility towards the rural girl who has the right to learn, whatever the circumstances.   And he continued: “The number of female students has reached more than 400 students, and their overcrowding in the classrooms represents the main problem, as their number reaches 50 students in one class, and despite the heat of the weather, they resorted to set on the ground of the classes that made of straw with minimal means and under trees.   The initiative to build an additional classroom in the village of Deir al-Salam in Al-Dhahi district started with the formation of a team consists of me and my friend Majid al-Bakari, where we submitted a proposal and it turned into a project and it yielded a beautiful initiative , thus ,the result was that we contributed to alleviating the suffering of female students and encouraging rural girls to continue their education by providing an appropriate educational environment and reducing student density by having an additional classrooms.”   Ammar concluded his speech by saying, “All thanks and appreciation to the people of Deir al-Salam village for providing the necessary facilities to implement the initiative and supporting the initiative team in all stages of implementation.
