The conclusion of the training course on business development (entrepreneurship and life skills) and digital skills in the districts of Salah and Al-Madhfar – Taiz SDHGF concluded training in business development (entrepreneurship and life skills) and digital skills within the project of social and economic recovery and participation for women in Yemen funded by the Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Action Fund (WPHF) and the United Nations Women (UN Women) in Taiz Governorate. Which lasted for 12 days, as the training targeted 200 women from the displaced and the host community in the districts of Salah and Al-Mudhfar and worked to empower them and give them abilities in the mechanism of making plans for their own projects, how to manage and promote the project, in addition to knowing how to do a simplified feasibility study for their projects. The conclusion was attended by the media consultant, Ms.Widad Al-Badawi, on behalf of Ms. Dina Zorba, the representative of the United Nations Women’s Commission in Iraq and Yemen, the Director General of Social Affairs and Labor, Mr. Abdo Ali, the Director of the Executive Unit for the Displaced, Mr. Ali Qaed, and Ms. Arwa Al-Omari, Director of the Businesswomen’s Department at the Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Sadiq Hammoud, Acting Director of the Hall Directorate, Mr. Akram Abdulaziz, Social Affairs and Labor, Al Madhfar district, and Mr. Ahmed Abdo, the Executive Unit of Al Madhfar district. And those who praised such trainings that benefit women, especially displaced women, and emphasized that the district needs such projects that work to revive and advance the district. And it is necessary to work on the path of economic empowerment in particular, as it is one of the most important auxiliary paths to push the wheel of development within the district. Where the participants expressed in closing words the extent to which they benefited from this training course, which helped them to write their projects within specific plans and goals. It is worth noting that the conclusion included a number of speeches by the local authority and the private sector, and a word by the trainers, represented by Mr. Mansour Raweh, in addition to the great cooperation of some financing institutions that took the initiative to attend and motivate the participants and start cooperating to provide them with facilities. The conclusion was concluded by honoring the facilitators and trainers in the presence of the local authority and the donor.
