حفل ختامي لمشروع الانتعاش الاجتماعي والاقتصادي للمرأة في اليمن
مؤسسة بنات الحديدة تحتفي بنجاح مشروع الانتعاش الاجتماعي والاقتصادي للمرأة في اليمن في حفل ختامي مميز* .
نظمت مؤسسة بنات الحديدة حفلا ختاميا صباح الأمس الثلاثاء 19 سبتمبر 2023 للاحتفاء باختتام مشروع الانتعاش الاجتماعي والاقتصادي للمرأة في اليمن والذي نفذ في إطار محافظة تعز والحديدةبالشراكة مع هيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة وبتمويل من صندوق المرأة للسلام والعمل الإنساني حضر الحفل شخصيات بارزة من ممثلين عن المكاتب الحكومية والمنظمات المحلية والقيادات النسوية و تم استعراض تفاصيل المشروع الذي تم فيه تدريب وتأهيل 400 امرأة في تعز والحديدة، وتمكين 100 امرأة وتوفير فرص لبناء مشاريع مدرة للدخل، بالإضافة إلى تنفيذ شراكات مع ست مؤسسات محلية وإنتاج محتوى توعوي متنوع.
وفي مداخلة للمؤسسة عبرو فيها عن سعادتهم بالنجاحات التي حققها المشروع وتوجهو بالشكر للدعم المقدم من الهيئات الدولية والمحلية وفي كلمة لممثلة هيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة في العراق اليمن دينا زوربا ألقتها إستشارية الإعلام وداد البدوي تطرقت لأهمية مثل هذه المشاريع وعبرت عن دور الأمم المتحدة في دعم المشاريع المختلفة وحول دور هيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة والتي تعمل في اليمن منذ العام 2014 وقالت من خلال مشاريعهم المختلفة استطاعت أن تصل لعدد كبير من النساء والفتيات، في عدد من المحافظات وكانت المرأة النازحة ضمن أولوياتنا في المديريات المستهدفة ووجدنا إن من أهم المشاكل التي فاقمت معاناة النازحات كانت مشكلة الأمية،
وأضافت كلنا ثقة بأننا سنجد من رائدات هذه المشاريع من يكون لها حضوراً مميز وتصبح ملهمة للأخرين بعد نجاحها مثمنين جهود السلطة المحلية للتعاونها من أجل إنجاح مثل هذه المشاريع، كما نشكر اللجنة الوطنية للمرأة لحرصها ع المتابعة والتنسيق المشترك، و الوحدة التنفيذية لإدارة مخيمات النازحين لجهودهم الكبيرة، وكذلك لا ننسى أن نشكر كل الحاضرين والحاضرات والفنانين المتواجدين معانا اليوم في الفقرات الموسيقية.
كما تحدث عدد من المسؤولين المحليين خلال الحفل، منهم مدير مكتب التخطيط الأستاذ نبيل جامل، و نائب مدير مكتب الشؤون الاجتماعية والعمل عبده علي ومديرة اللجنة الوطنية للمرأة لمكتب تعز الأستاذة صباح الشرعبي، وأحمد عبده سعيد مدير مكتب العلاقات العامة بمديرية صالة، وطارق الفهيدي القائم بأعمال مدير مديرية المظفر، والذين شجعوا مثل هذه المشاريع التي تمكن المرأة وتعزز دورها في المجال الاقتصادي.
هذا وشهد الحفل أيضًا مشاركة المستفيدات من المشروع الذين شاركوا قصص نجاحهم وعبروا عن فرحتهم وامتنانهم للفرص التي منحت لهم كما تضمن الحفل فقرات متنوعة غنائية وفنية لإضفاء جو من الفرح والترفيه على الحضور .
و يعد هذا الحفل خطوة هامة في تعزيز دور المرأة في المجتمع وتمكينها اقتصاديًا واجتماعيًا ويعكس الحفل التزام المجتمع الدولي والمحلي بتعزيز المساواة بين الجنسين وتحقيق التنمية المستدامة من المأمول أن تستمر مثل هذه المشاريع والجهود في تعزيز حقوق المرأة وتمكينها في اليمن وفي جميع أنحاء العالم.
Hodeidah Girls Foundation Celebrates the Success of the Social and Economic Empowerment Project for Women in Yemen in a Special Closing Ceremony.
Hodeidah Girls Foundation organized a closing ceremony yesterday morning, Tuesday, September 19, 2023, to celebrate the conclusion of the Social and Economic Empowerment Project for Women in Yemen. The project was implemented in the governorates of Taiz and Hodeidah in partnership with the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) and funded by the Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund. The ceremony was attended by prominent figures representing government offices, local organizations, and women leaders.
During the event, the details of the project were presented, highlighting the training and qualification of 400 women in Taiz and Hodeidah, the empowerment of 100 women, and the provision of income-generating opportunities. Additionally, partnerships were established with six local institutions, and diverse awareness content was produced.
In a speech delivered by a representative of UN Women in Yemen, Dina Zorba, through media consultant Widad Al-Badawi, the importance of such projects was emphasized, and the role of the United Nations in supporting various initiatives was highlighted. The UN Women has been operating in Yemen since 2014, reaching a large number of women and girls in several governorates. The plight of displaced women was among their priorities in the targeted directorates, and they found illiteracy to be one of the major issues exacerbating their suffering.
It was expressed with confidence that the pioneers of these projects will continue to have a significant presence and become inspiring role models for others after their success. The efforts of local authorities in supporting such projects were commended, along with appreciation for the National Women’s Committee for their joint coordination and follow-up, and the Executive Unit for Displaced Camp Management for their significant contributions. The attendees and artists present at the event were also thanked for their participation in the musical segments.
Several local officials also spoke during the ceremony, including Nabil Jamel, Director of the Planning Office, Abdo Ali, Deputy Director of the Social Affairs and Labor Office, Sabah Al-Sharabi, Director of the National Women’s Committee for the Taiz Office, Ahmed Abdo Saeed, Director of the Public Relations Office in the Sala Directorate, and Tariq Al-Fahidi, Acting Director of the Muzaffer Directorate. They all encouraged projects that empower women and enhance their role in the economic field.
The ceremony also featured the participation of project beneficiaries who shared their success stories, expressing their joy and gratitude for the opportunities granted to them. The event included various entertaining performances to create an atmosphere of joy and entertainment for the attendees.
This ceremony represents an important step in promoting the role of women in society and empowering them socially and economically. It reflects the commitment of the international and local community to promoting gender equality and achieving sustainable development. It is hoped that such projects and efforts will continue to enhance women’s rights and empowerment in Yemen and around the world.
