Decision-Making for Taking a Step
>
A public awareness campaign titled “Decision-Making for Taking a Step” was conducted by the Sariyagus Foundation as part of the Social and Economic Recovery and Women’s Participation Project implemented by the Banaat Al-Hodeida Foundation, with support from the United Nations and funding from the Women’s Fund and Humanitarian Work Fund.
The activity, implemented by the Sariyagus Foundation in the Hodeida Governorate, specifically in the Khawkhah Directorate, aims to support and empower women in decision-making and facilitate their access to vocational and technical training centers and employment opportunities in decision-making bodies.
The training activity lasted for five days and included gathering data on the barriers hindering women’s empowerment in decision-making and equipping them with the necessary skills to advance in vocational and technical training centers and apply for employment in decision-making bodies.
This activity is significant for empowering women in decision-making and supporting their roles in society. It reflects the efforts of institutions and organizations aiming to support and empower women in developing communities.
