The health of prisoners is a right

نفذت مؤسسة بنات الحديدة بالتنسيق مع مؤسسة سويا للتنمية الانسانية وبتمـويل مـن منظمة الاصلاح الجنائي والحكومة الهولندية ضمن مشروع ( صحة السجنـاء حق ) اعادة تأهيل غرفة العزل الصحي بالسجن المركزي بالحديدة وقد شمل التجهيـز ترميـم الغـرفـة وبناء حمامين واصلاح غرفة التفتيش وعند الاكتمـال من عملية البنـاء تـم تجهيـز الغرفـة بالسرائر والمستلزمات الخاصة و كذلك منظومة طاقة شمسية ويأتي هذا التجهيز مع بدأ دخول فصل الصيف حيث تنتشر الامراض المعدية بين النـزلاء وخصـوصا الامـراض الجلـديـة مما استدعى التدخل الفوري ومد يد المساعدة لإعادة تأهيلهــا ويتـم حاليــا العمل على قدم وساق لاستكمال بقية التجهيزات النهائية للغرفة ليتم استقبال المرضى النزلاء فيها وعلاجهم ..

ويـأتي هـذا النشــاط ضمـن العديد من الانشطــة التي تقــوم بهـا المؤسسة خلــال هذا المشروع وسيتم في مراحلة القادمة عمل جلسات توعوية ومســارح تفاعليـة من شأنهـا رفع الوعي الصحي لدى النزلاء بأهمية النظافة الشخصية باعتبارها اهم ركيزة للحماية من الامراض الجلدية المعدية ..

SDHGF, in coordination with the Together Foundation for Human Development “ Sawa Foundation “ and funded by the Penal Reform Organization and the Dutch government, within the project (Health of Prisoners is Right), implemented the rehabilitation of the health  isolation room in the central prison in Al-Hodeidah. The equipment included renovating the room, building two bathrooms, and repairing the inspection room. Upon completion of the construction process, the room was equipped with beds and special supplies, as well as a solar energy system. This preparation comes with the entrance of the summer season, when infectious diseases spread among the inmates, especially skin diseases, which necessitated immediate intervention and extending a helping hand to rehabilitate them. This activity comes within the many activities carried out by the Foundation during this project. In the next phase, awareness sessions and interactive theaters will be held.   Raising health awareness among inmates of the importance of personal hygiene as the most important pillar of protection against infectious skin diseases.
