SDHGF strengthens the capacity of women-led entrepreneurship in Hudaydah Governorate
مؤسسة بنات الحديدة تعزز قدرة ريادة الأعمال التي تقودها النساء في محافظة الحديدة
نفذت مؤسسة بنات الحديدة التنموية الاجتماعية مشروعا لبناء قدرات المؤسسات التي تقودها النساء ومركز التدريب في محافظة الحديدة بمديرية حيس، بتمويل سخي من بعثة الأمم المتحدة لدعم اتفاق الحديدة (أونمها).
حيث ستساهم هذه المبادرة بشكل مباشر في تحقيق الأهداف الرئيسية للتنمية المستدامة، مثل بناء القدرات لتعزيز المؤسسات التي تقودها النساء والحد من الفقر.
وقد تلقت المستفيدات تدريبا مخصصا في مجالات التسويق وريادة الأعمال، فضلا عن توفير المعدات التي تزداد الحاجة إليها للمشاركات لتوسيع مهاراتهم التقنية.
ومن خلال تنفيذ أنشطته الأساسية، نجح المشروع في تمكين 12 رائدة أعمال من مؤسسة صناع التغيير، عبر رعاية مهاراتهن في إدارة الأعمال ومسك الدفاتر؛ مع غرس المفاهيم الرئيسية حول إدارة المشاريع وصياغة مقترحات المشاريع، التي ستمكنهن من رفع مستوى مشاريعهن التجارية.
كما عزز المشروع المهارات التقنية للمستفيدات من خلال دورة مخصصة لتدريب المدربين على الخياطة. وستتمكن المشاركات حاليا من زيادة التأثير عبر مجتمعاتهم من خلال توفير فرص ذات جودة لبناء القدرات للمستفيدات في المستقبل. وبالتالي تعزيز تبادل المعرفة على مستوى القاعدة الشعبية بين مجتمعاتهم المحلية.
وأخيرا تم تعزيز مهارات التسويق لدى رائدات الأعمال، حيث تلقت كل منهن دعما مخصصا لتأمين روابط سوقية جديدة تسمح لهن بتوسيع إمكاناتهن المدرة للدخل.
ويجري حاليا تجهيز مركز التدريب التابع للمؤسسة بآلات الخياطة والمواد الخام التي تشتد الحاجة إليها والتي ستعمل في نهاية المطاف على تعزيز قدرة المشاريع التي تقودها النساء وتوسيع نطاق تأثير المشروع وتؤدي إلى التخفيف من حدة الفقر على نطاق أوسع.
SDHGF strengthens the capacity of women-led entrepreneurship in Hudaydah Governorate
The Social Development Hudaydah Girls Foundation (SDHGF) has implemented a project to build the capacity of women-led institutions and the training center in Hudaydah Governorate, Hays District; generously funded by the UN Mission to support the Hudaydah Agreement (UNMHA).
This initiative will directly contribute to key Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), such as strengthening and capacity-building to foster women-led institutions, and poverty reduction.
Beneficiaries have received dedicated training in the fields of marketing and entrepreneurship, as well as supplying much-needed equipment for participants to expand their technical skills.
Through the implementation of its core activities, the project has successfully empowered 12 female entrepreneurs from the Change Makers Foundation, by nurturing their business management and bookkeeping skills; while instilling key notions on project management and drafting project proposals, that will enable them to upscale their business ventures.
Also, the project has further enhanced the beneficiaries’ technical skills with a dedicated training-of-trainers course for seamstresses. Participants will now be able to amplify the impact across their communities by providing quality capacity-building opportunities to future beneficiaries; thus fostering grassroots knowledge-sharing among their respective communities.
Finally, the female entrepreneurs’ marketing skills were reinforced, with each of them receiving tailored support for securing new market links that will allow them to expand their income-generating potential.
The Foundation’s training center is currently being equipped with sewing machines and much-needed raw materials, that will ultimately serve to strengthen the capacity of women-led enterprises, scale-up the impact of the project, and lead to broader poverty alleviation
