As part of the “Social and Economic Recovery and Women’s Participation in Yemen” project implemented by the Girls of Hawdiah Foundation with support from the United Nations Women and funding from the Women for Peace and Humanitarian Action Fund in Taiz and Al-Hodeidah governorates, the Hawdiah Development Foundation supported the Future Foundation for Development and Peacebuilding to conduct a training course on “Monitoring, Documentation, Report Writing, Human Rights Principles, and Accountability” for 15 marginalized, displaced, and host community youths. The training was held in the city of Taiz from June 12, 2023, to June 14, 2023. The training course aims to equip the participants with the skills and tools necessary for monitoring, documentation, and report writing concerning human rights, as well as to help them understand the concept of accountability and its importance in humanitarian and community work. The participants considered this training course an excellent opportunity to improve their skills and increase their understanding of human rights and accountability concepts, as well as to learn about best practices in monitoring, documentation, and report writing related to human rights.
