  On Thursday 12/29/2016, SDHGF concluded the activity of a message of peace, funded by Saferworld Organization, with a ceremony held in the Creativity Center Hall, in the presence of Mr. Hashim Al-Azazi, Deputy Governor, and Mr. Hamid Jumai, representative of the Executive Unit, and a number of personalities and civil society organizations. Where Mr. Hashem Al-Azazi, the deputy governor, delivered a speech in which he stated that such cultural events have a great role in highlighting the role of youth and their talents and refining their abilities ,this was confirmed by Ms.Hanan Bamashmus, Executive Director of SDHGF, in her speech, that the competition came to highlight the role of youth in building peace and spreading a culture of peace and expressing it through various messages that were manifested in “drawing – photography – short video – poems.” The ceremony included a number of various paragraphs, including a show of flowers “SDHGF female team”, a movie entitled “We Want Peace”, a video clip entitled “You Can”, The Peace Theater presented by Ala Kaifak team, in addition to presenting of poetry by the poets Ms. Mona Al-Hajri and Mr. Hassan Al-Zubaidi, after which all participants in the Message of Peace competition were presented and honored. Thus for the Photograph category “Mohamed Farouk Saad” has won the first place and “Shihab Al-Absi” has won the second place. in drawing category “Sahar Saeed Al-Sabri” has won first place and “Afraa Ghaylan”has won and second place. All thanks go to the Ghnawi Band, led by Majed Hassan, the wonderful theater group “Ala Kaifak”, led by Saad Ataa ,the creative Mohammed Shaqi ,the awarding committee “Mr.Yahya Al-Wadi’i and Mr.Muhammad Al-Najdi” And for the wonderful flowers of SDHGF.
