SDHGF implemented three training courses on weaving, preparing and maintaining fishing nets, as well as maintenance of fishing boat engines, and maintenance of fiberglass fishing boats, as part of the project of “Enhancing Local Stability in Al-Mokha District, funded by Chemonics – Bridges Program and in partnership with the International Yemen Partners Organization within the vocational and economic empowerment initiative for youth and women, which is one of the activities of the project to support local stability in the Al-Mokha district. Where the fishing boat engine maintenance training was carried out for 6 trainees, and they became able to repair the fishing boat engines of all kinds. And the implementation of the training of maintenance and repair of fiberglass fishing boats for the number of 6 trainees, and they became able to maintain and repair fishing boats. At the end of this training, 24 professional bags were distributed to all trainees, in order to support them to start their own projects.
