إعادة تأهيل بئر في مديرية المنصورية

SDHGF, in coordination with the Executive Unit for the Displaced in Hodeidah, and funded by philanthropists within Al-Naji campaign, rehabilitated a well in Dhabr Akam village in Mansouriya district. The well was inaugurated and handed over to the people of the region in the presence of the Director of the district , Mr. Saeed Al-Hakami, the head of SDHGF Ms. Dalia Al-Dabhani, the Executive Director of SDHGF Hanan Bashmous, WASH programs responsible Enas Muhammad, the consultant engineer for the WASH programs Mr. Ayoub Al-Dabai, and a group of notables of the region. Where a deepening of the manual well was made from 17-22 meters, equivalent to 5 meters. A submersible pump powered by solar energy was installed and a 200-meter pumping line was connected from the well to the reservoir. A plastic tank with a capacity of 3000 liters was made and installed on a cement tank base with a height of 1.5 meters. A manhole was made next to the tank consisting of 4 faucets. The well head was raised and an iron cover was made. Saeed Al-Hakami, Director of Al-Mansouriya district, praised the efforts made and encouraged work on such projects, since rural areas in particular need these projects that works to alleviate the suffering of parents and children as it avoids them from going to far areas to fetch water. All thanks to everyone who contributed to the rehabilitation of the well and alleviating the suffer of the people of this village.
